Who Are We?
C-SCDC is a community action agency working to improve the lives of low-income individuals and families, and the communities in which they live. Our goal is to help clients achieve self-sufficient living. C-SCDC was organized in 1965 and is a private, non-profit corporation. Our board of directors is made up of low income, public and private representatives. We inject over $8,000,000 a year into the local economy with over 1,600 volunteers used in various programs. Approximately $12 million in-kind donations are made each year and we hold board meetings every 4th Thursday of the month except for the months of August and November.
Crawford-Sebastian Community Development Council, Inc. is a community action agency whose purpose is to make improvements in the lives of low-income individuals, families and the communities in which they live, so that a greater level of self-sufficient living can be achieved.
